Pat Thomas is an executive coach who specializes in transformation by challenging clients to break through limiting beliefs, define success on their own terms, and take massive action to achieve professional goals and personal dreams. She is the founder, Chief Freedom Officer and lead Executive Coach of Thomas Coaching Company, Inc., a coaching and consulting firm that supports executives in for-profit and non-profit companies.
Pat works with several independent professional coaches who engage in client projects based on their specialties which include behavioral and core competency assessments, management training, and business and strategic plan development.
Pat was a Regional Vice President for Consumer Marketing with AT&T in her last position with the company. In prior assignments, Pat was a Director of International Marketing, a Group Product Manager and was responsible for relationship management of Fortune 50 national accounts. Her corporate experience enables her to use her business acumen to leaders in transforming their organizations and achieving success.
In addition to coaching, Pat facilitates strategic planning retreats, conducts talent management surveys and assessments, writes articles on coaching topics and offers a variety of client support products. SkyRadio selected Pat as one of “America’s Best Coaches,” and her interview with the station was broadcasted on airlines worldwide. Among the honors she received are the New York City Council’s Pacesetter Award, and induction into the YWCA Academy of Women Achievers.
Pat resides in East Elmhurst, New York, and received her BA in English from Michigan State University, her MA in English and Communications from Columbia University and completed the Sales and Marketing Executives Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Pat trained with Coach University and is a Master Certified Coach candidate and a Certified Behavioral and Values Analyst.
Pat’s board affiliations include the Queens Library Foundation, the Kiwanis Club of LaGuardia Airport and Community Board 3. She is a member of the Greater Queens Chapter of The Links, Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
